CLIC Sargent is the only charity that offers them all round care and support. Having taken up this fantastic South Africa Challenge, our team of trekkers and cyclists helped to make a real difference to the lives of children with cancer and their families.
top of pageTrekkers itinerary:
Our trekkers finished covering over 80km through the breath-taking Cederberg wilderness, before their final climb over the most famous landmark in the Southern Hemisphere – Table Mountain.
Cycling itinerary:
The cycling group also completed 400km along the amazing Garden Route and finally arrived at the Cape of Good Hope.

Both of our groups finished and celebrated the completion of their challenge together in Cape Town on the 15th October.
top of pageLast reports from the Challenge:
The reports that we had back from the groups were very positive, with sunny skies and beautiful mountain scenery and surroundings.
The local wildlife was out in abundance for the cycling group with sightings of dolphins surfing the waves, zebra, wilderbeast and ostriches.
top of pageAnd although 40km hill climbs and long days left the cyclists tired, they reported that they were ‘all loving it’ and looking forward to their next one!
