This fantastic oriental cycling challenge gave 30 CLIC Sargent supporters the chance to experience an amazing Olympic country, whilst raising over £70,000 to help children with cancer in the UK.
During the challenge, which ran from 10 - 19 October 2008, the adventurous group cycled over 400 kilometres, passing through beautiful woody countryside, some days in the shadow of the Great Wall, visiting ancient monuments and sights such as the Ming Tombs and the Black Dragon Pools National Park along the way.
They followed a route along one of the world's best known UNESCO World Heritage sites which was definitely challenging. However the stunning moutain and rural scenery, plus the amazingly supportive and friendly group of fellow cyclists ensured that everyone had the trip of a lifetime!
