Register your interest in taking part in an overseas Challenge for CLIC Sargent using our online enquiry form or visit Charity Challenge.
Charity Challenge run various different types of challenges, from standard treks and cycles, to community projects and family treks. Most expeditions are open to anyone over 18, and the new family treks are designed for families with children aged 12-17.
Fitness
A certain level of fitness is needed to take part in an overseas challenge, however this varies between challenges. Training plans and information will be supplied once you have signed up.
You can sign-up alone (as most of our participants do) or with friends. Don't worry about not knowing anyone else in the group - you'll soon get to know everyone and like most of our past participants, you’ll come home with a whole new set of friends!
What CLIC Sargent supporters have said about their experiences:
"I loved every minute of the trip - it was fantastic!"
"The Grand Canyon was spectacular and it's an adventure I will always treasure and would do again tomorrow if I had the chance. Just to know what I can achieve, away from my usual comforts. Everyone should come and trek overseas at least once in their lives - you almost can't describe how amazing the feeling is."
"This experience has really helped me to realise just what I am capable of - it has been a tremendous adventure and a fantastic personal achievement."
