Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson has announced that Virgin has nominated CLIC Sargent as the official charity for 2010 Virgin London Marathon. CLIC Sargent is delighted to accept the nomination. Being selected by Virgin is fantastic news for CLIC Sargent and our running team and represents an unprecedented opportunity for the Charity to massively increase its profile and fundraising income from this event. Our Gold Bond places for 2010 will be available from April 2009.
Entry information for 2009:
We have a few remaining guaranteed charity places available for the London Marathon 2009, but they are going quickly!
To apply for a place please complete our Online Enquiry Form to receive our enquiry pack. To secure a place you will need to complete our Pledge Form and pledge to raise £1,750 in sponsorship.
We will support you every step of the way in both your fundraising and training.
All CLIC Sargent London Marathon runners will receive:
- A free fundraising pack
- A free CLIC Sargent running vest
- Iron-on letters for your running vest
- Fundraising support and advice
- Newsletters in the lead-up to the big day
- An inivitation to join our online community
- Fundraising materials to assist with fundraising activities (upon request)
- An invitation to the post-race party for showers, a hot buffet, sports massage and a congratulations goodie bag
We will be available on the phone and email to answer all your queries and we have a stand at the Marathon Expo to help get you ready for the race. Our Post-Race Receptions allow everyone to relax and celebrate their great achievement!
